Malaysia's Solar EPCC Pioneer
TNEC established itself as a leading multi-disciplinary engineering, design and consultancy company in Malaysia's solar energy sector. Over approximately 5 years, TNEC successfully completed the EPCC of 3 Large Scale Solar (LSS) plants with a total delivered capacity of 109 MWac.
Every project was delivered ahead of its scheduled Commercial Operation Date (COD), a testament to TNEC's engineering rigour and project management excellence. TNEC continues to undertake Operation & Maintenance (O&M) for the operational plants.

A contracting arrangement where TNEC is responsible for all activities from design, procurement and construction through to commissioning and handover to the end-user or owner.

Pakar & Pasir Gudang Combined Cycle Plant (243 MW)
Procurement, erection, and commissioning of balance of plant works — mechanical and electrical — for a 243 MW combined cycle facility.
Kapar Power Station Phase III (2 × 500 MW)
Procurement, erection, commissioning, and supervision of various plant electrical and mechanical auxiliaries for 2 × 500 MW capacity at Kapar Power Station.
Malacca Combined Cycle Conversion (120 MW)
Turnkey conversion of 2 GE Frame 9 Machines into Combined Cycle operations, 120 MW capacity, in joint venture with local and international partners.
IPP Diesel Power Plant — Sihanoukville, Cambodia (20 MW)
Turnkey contractor for total development of a 20 MW diesel power plant, awarded via Asian Development Bank international tender.
Gelugor Power Plant Combined Cycle Conversion
Full turnkey works including design, engineering, manufacturing, quality inspection, packing, delivery, erection, testing, and commissioning.
Kapar Power Station Coal Handling System Refurbishment
EPC contract for refurbishment, upgrading and extension works of the coal handling system at Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Power Station.

275kV Transmission Lines & Substations — Segari Energy Venture
Project management for 275kV transmission lines from SEV Power Station and substations at SEV, Air Tawar, and Batu Gajah.
KLCC & Danau Desa 132kV GIS Substation
Construction of 132kV GIS substation and supply & erection of 33kV and 11kV switchgear for KLCC and Danau Desa GIS substations.
Supply & Erect Transmission — Multiple TNB Substations
Series of transmission substation upgrades including Skudai 132/33kV, Kampar 132/33kV, Telok Kalong 275kV, Bukit Tengah 132/33kV and Bukit Batu 275/132kV extensions.
SESB Grid Network Substations — RMK-8
Construction of new 33/11kV PPUs at Limbawang Beaufort, Ranca-Ranca Labuan, and Sandakan; plus new 33kV ring system for Tawau Airport and cabling works at PMU Lahad Datu.
Gelugor 132kV GIS Substation Upgrading
Full turnkey design, engineering, manufacture, erection, and commissioning of a new 132kV GIS Substation with 12-month warranty period after commissioning.
